    3. Cynthia, I have a great grandmother in Old Shamrock. Do you have any information on Easter Alabama McGuire? I have her birth date/marriage date/death date. She was married to Joseph Davison (Davidson) in Red River Co. in 1876. He was murdered in 1886 by a man named Wiley Norman. I would like any information on any of these people. I can't find Joseph's father/mother. Any findings of recorded court preceedings/court dates/etc....?? Easter later married Abasalom Lawson Newsom. She married him about 1888. I can not find any information on either of her husbands. I have no proof, but I think Joseph Davidson was buried in the Tuggle Springs Cemetery. I cannot find a grave. I do not know where Abasalom Newsom was buried. He died in 1930 at a very old age for those times. So perhaps in your research you have come across something on one of these individuals........I sure can't find anything on them. I am coming to Clarksville in the fall. I have no idea where to look for the Joseph Davidson murder. Or where to look for the Newsom burial place. We have spoken a time or two before..........I have Malone family that lived in Bagwell back in the 1950's, we conversed on this line of my family once before. My roots are there in Red River Co. and Lamar Co. I always love to visit. I have a 1/2 sister there in Clarksville, owns Clarksville Florist. If you have any suggestions, I'm open and will chase them down if I can. Thanks, and I love to read the "happenings" on this site. 3. I'm familar with the story but I don't have any details. I think that if there were any surviving newspapers with the story in it the Dales would have found it. As for court records I have never explored them, but I understand that they are all still there. There is probably a wealth of information on all sorts of people there. Somebody needs to do that. As I have mentioned before I have sideways connections to a lot of these families. Many of them came from the same area in Louisiana about the same time. I remember Frances, but haven't seen her in many years. Actually I heard at one time that she sold the Florist, but I guess that was false. She is a very nice person. If I run across anything I will let you know. I wish I had asked questions when there were people around who could have answered them.
