Sam, Sounds like a trick question to me. I don't think I will bite and wait for a the answer. Reminds me, a aunt of mine was telling me that in Paris, Pine Mill Road, or Post Oak road, use to be the old US 82. Some one will have to show me that before I believe it, but maybe so. Jim G p.s. My answer to the Bagwell mileage would be about 3 to 4 miles saved by the new road in about 1960. I will bite after all. ----- Original Message ----- From: "sam embrey" <sre795@suddenlink.net> To: <TXREDRIV@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 21, 2007 9:07 PM Subject: [TXREDRIV] Not Gena. > Since the site has been so quite, I thought it might be a good time to > ask a silly question. This is not a trick question in any way. Just an old guy thinking about how far we used to travel from Clarksville to Paris. Pine Mill road was the road we used as 82 was being built, but I don't think it was ever Hy. 82. Thank you for your answer. I will drive it out some day.
