My family and I will be traveling near Clarksville next week and I would like to stop by the cemeteries and take pictures of my families headstones. In order to maximize our time I was wondering if anyone from the area would be able to give me directions or the best route to take when visiting the following cemeteries. I don't want to be going helter skelter all over the county.Clarksville, CemeteryOld Shamrock CemeteryDetroit CemeteryLone Star CemeteryBluff CemeteryAny help would be great,Bridget Stiverson _________________________________________________________________ PC Magazine’s 2007 editors’ choice for best web mail—award-winning Windows Live Hotmail. http://imagine-windowslive.com/hotmail/?locale=en-us&ocid=TXT_TAGHM_migration_HMWL_mini_pcmag_0707

Exact directions to all the cemeteries in Red River County are on the Red River County GenWeb page. Click on the link that says, "Cemetery Index" and then click on the name of the cemetery that you want to find. A county road map might also be helpful. You could call the Chamber of Commerce at Clarksville and see if they have one that they will send you.
If you can't find a county road map, Walmart sells an atlas pulished by Delorme for about $15 (maybe more for Texas or there may be more than one atlas) Cemeteries are marked by a cross. It shows all the roads, even dirt ones and it's very accurate, even though a lot of the smaller roads aren't named. You can use the directions from the website to plot your trip. I found some cemeteries in Oklahoma last summer I didn't even know about using the map.
