Cynthia, Since you seem to have information on Red River would you happen to know if there were any newspaper at the time of T.J. & Sarah Tompkins death in 1895 & 96. I know it was a long time ago but it does not seem like it. I was hoping that maybe there were obit for them in the local paper. I am from a small town in Illinois and they have great obits as most small town seem to have.
