    3. Drew, I do not have that information. I heard him say that they were in Penn. because of someone younger that lived there, but I want to think it was a nephew or something of this nature that they were living up there for. I also know that a preacher here, the late Mr. Speed that took care of their business for them. I can check around and see if I can come up with something more for you. I visited in their home several times, as Harry wanted to talk about the Bible with me, but some of the smaller things have slipped my mind, but maybe I can find out something, at least, I can try. 3. This may not be relative, but the phone book list Alan T Love in the Clarksville area. I remember know of a Alan Love that had a nice farm in deep Peter's Prairie, several miles south of Lane Chapel. I never knew him but I here I have head my in-laws speak of him from time to time over the years. I remember dove hunting next to his farm about 20 years ago. Come to think of it I have often wondered what have to a man with the last name of Love about my age from Perry (west of Paris in Lamar County). I worked with him on a road construction job in 1960. 2. Thanks Sam. Sharon, is this Harry Walker Love? I can't seem to find that article you sent me of his wedding anniversary. For some reason I can't find his info. either in my records. I do remember though someone telling me he lived in Pittsburg for some time. I might have seen that on Alice's Confederate Pension Application. 3. Is there any Chickasaw Indian blood in your Love family. The Loves were one of the largest mix-blood families in the Chickasaw Nation in OK. Thomas Love was a refugee Tory from Virginia that settled among the Chickasaws in 1782. He had 2 wives and 13 children between them. I'm told a descendant of this family owns the Love Country Stores. I have some bios and marriage info on this family. 3. Thanks for the info. Jim. I hadn't heard about this. I don't even know if it made the paper. It isn't on the TCU website either. It must be very minor like what you have read. Glad to hear that he is ok and his passenger. He has a long great career ahead of him. Always like to see quality individuals like he is succeed in life. He had a good spring from what I read. He had the only touchdown in the spring scrimmage. There is also another tailback that is going to push him for some playing time though. He will give TCU a great backup to Hobbs next season, which is something they really didn't have behind LT during his time here. I am looking forward to another great year of TCU football and watching Hobbs chase LT's records. I would love to see another single game rushing record broke at TCU's home field. A true treasure of Clarksville and Red River County....Lonta Hobbs! 3. I am forwarding this from my high school group. I am not sure if it is more correct than what I was told or not. Jim Giddens Paris, Tx Ann had the facts correct. Lonte' spent two nights in hospital. No serious injuries. The girl with him is still in the hospital--she had a serious concussion. Mostly they were there for observation. I understand they are very fortunate. Connie

    3. Lontia Hobbs, the football player for TCU from Clarksville was in a auto accident. It was a pretty bad crash but he was released for the hospital after spending the night with only a cut finger according to my information. I assume the was banged up some, but nothing serious to hinder his ball playing. I understand the car hit a tree after hydroplaning. His passenger is still in the hospital with bumps & burses but she will be ok, nothing broken. The accident happened Saturday afternoon between Annona & Avery. I know Drew is a big TCU man and wanted to let him know Hobbs is ok. Jim Giddens Paris, Tx

    3. Max, I have been trying to figure out who AP Love was since I started looking at the Loves in Red River County. He is on the 1900 census with his family. There are a few different Love families that are on the 1900 that I can't connect to my Love family. They might be the Loves you are looking for. I don't remember any of the other names though off the top of my head. I will go back through my stuff. Sam, What else can you tell us about Harry Love? I had a great uncle Harry Walker Love. He died in 2001. He is buried in Lamar County I believe. I have his wife's name in my records somewhere. His parents where Samuel Walker Love and Alice Bevens. I am at work right now, but I will look up some info when I get home tonight.
