    3. Marilyn, I sure hate to hear about your Aunt. What was her name and how old was she? It is such a hard thing-death, I mean, but we will see her again, if we are good enough. 3. Thanks Debra. I feel a bit silly as I know my little boys know more about such than me. They howl if I call them that as both are taller than me and 16 and 13 years old. I try to not injure their pride, but it just is beyond me at times. LOL Such as the 13 year old asked if I could see something dark across his upper lip a few days ago, and I said, "Is it dirt?" and he said no it is whiskers!!! He is just 13, back in April! So, it may be! He is my baby, and weighed 5 pounds, 14 oz. and was 18 inches long! He is heavier than me already and is 5' 4" and growing fast! I will get them to help me with notepad. I love this list! 3. We had a neighbor when in town who, when asked how his cotton was doing, would answer "it's knee high to Mag." Of course, you had to know Mag. to relate to this...... Mag was his wife. Jim, do you remember how people would go to town on sat. and just sit in their car/truck and visit with people walking by. The city finally put up meters and that caused a lot of folks to stay home cause they couldn't afford the money it would cost to sit there. My brother, Bobby, and I would go to the show at the Avalon or Texan and stay there all day while our Gmother sat on the square. Gdaddy would be in the Odd Fellow lodge, over the Texan theater, playing dominoes all day. 3. This weeks Clarksville Times has a very long and impressive obituary for Harry Igo. He was 89. He was raised by older sisters after his parents died. Graduated from Texas A & M. Cargo Pilot during WW II flying many missions over the Pacific. He was the first in the Plainview area to promote the use of anhydrous ammonia as a fertilizer after in 1948 the began Plainsman Supply Co. , become one of the biggest feed, seed and fertilizer dealerships on the South Plains. In 1974 he was named Outstanding Chemical Agricultural Man in West Texas. There is much more impressive information in the obit. Nothing about any connection or activity in Red River Co after high school graduation at CHS in 1933. Read it if you get the chance. Jim G Paris T
