N.B. Terry "elected to serve as pastor for the next associational year". N.B.T. had preached in July of 1894. Seems to indicated a pastor was voted on each year. I see in July 1896 Bro N.B.T being elected again for another year. Some of the page must be missing or minutes just were not taken. I have a gap from 1881 to 1894. 1894 minutes wrote of the "New Roll". I wonder if the church may not have meet during those years. I wonder when N.B.T. married Matildia? Does anyone know? 3. James Blackburn Keener, b 1847, d 1885 in Red River Co, TX. This information is recorded in my grandfather's journal. He also recorded that James B Keener had a dau, May that also died in 1885. James B Keener is my GGrandfather and I need help finding his and May's burial place. James B Keener is listed on the 1880, Bowie Co, TX census. I would appreciate someone checking the Red River Co Cemetery records for their burial information. 3. Found my notes on Bluff Cemetery where N.B. Terry and his wife Matilda Teague Terry are buried. Matilda was born 1865 and died 1929. The is a S.Terry in my notes (but I did not enter dates). Her graves is near the area of N.B. Come to think of it, seems I recall Matilda's grave being a little distant and one row off of N.B.T. grave., but that was Aug 6, 2004. I have slept since the. Maybe I will get a chance to go back and check for more detail on all of these. So far I have not found a Sarah Loye or Sarah Terry in the Concord minutes. 2. Sue, I do not see a C or C.B. Love on the 1900 Census in Red River county. There are 26 Love individuals in the county. In 1910, again no C. or C.B. Love listed. No Mary either. There are 25 Love individuals in the county. I can account for my Love family and I know someone else on the list has some Love family in the county. If you can tell me a little more about your Love family that your looking for, I might have something in my files. 1. Re: [TXREDRIV] Rita report...elderly help?
    2. Go on online and a do a google search for some churches in their area. Maybe a church or two might have a website. You can contact them by email for help. Also, find the nearest newspaper online to where they live. They will have contact numbers for REd Cross, or anyone else that is helping with clean up efforts and food donations. Even Department of Human and Protective Services might get involved, you would have to get the Protective Services for Elderly case workers. If they can not help, they can surely tell you who to call. What about your parents home owners insurance? Have they been called? Has a claim been filed. Sometimes the policy states that they pay for clients a hotel near by while their home is being repaired and money for food, clothes, etc. Good luck and God bless. Debra in Paris, Texas

    2. Thanks for the info. She received the 270 in emergency food stamps and signed up with FEMA. But I believe that's all. Thing is she looks so very young for her age that people don't consider her elderly. She argues with drs about her age...So I know that she would stand in line because someone is always worse off to them. Same thing happened with flu shots last year. They went and stood in line and Paw decided to leave because of all the people in wheelchairs and so many needier that he...but we need them, you know? thanks for the reply. Jerri

    2. Thanks Bonnie. Glad to hear you are well. We managed fine here...wind got scary, but we never lost lights and we got much needed rain. My Grandparents live down by Toledo Bend...on the Louisiana side...not far from Leesville. But they live miles from town in a fairly secluded area and most of their neighbors are widowed ladies. So help is needed, I'm sure. Their possessions were saved...but I'm afraid that having to start your pantry and such from scratch will prevent them from getting their meds refilled. Alot of their stuff came from the garden, which due to our summer, I can't help them there...ours died early on...LOL I shall keep trying to find them something because I know they would never ever ask.
