James b ---, d 2 Mar 1814 - burned to death at Nashville. Eleanor perished in this fire also. Md Nancy CHAMBLIN of Bourbon Co KY 29 Apr 1804. Children. 1. Lucy Ann b 1 Jan 1806; md Michael REYNOLDS - a number of children. One son, Dr. Stephen Johnston Winn REYNOLDS was a noted physician in Columbia, MO. He had a son, Matthew REYNOLDS who was a prominent attorney in MO. There were several daughters, one of whom, Elizabeth Ann, md James SNYDER of Bourbon Co and had 4 childreen. Two sons, Hon. George R. SNYDER and Dr. Robert N SNYDER of Louisville, KY - both married and left descendants. She also had 2 daus - Charlie who md Claude FREEMAN and Mattie who was married - no descendants. 2. George Chamblin b 25 July 1807. md Frances B JONES 1 Sept 1829 and moved to MO - left descendants. 3. Mary (Polly) Chamblin b 27 Mar 1809 md Woodson H GENTRY; had son: Braxton Winn GENTRY b 1 Oct 1830. He lived in MO and left descendants. 4. Stephen Johnston Jr b 11 Oct 1810. 5. Catherine J b 30 June 1812. 6. Maria Louise Bonapart b 17 June 1814.md Edward ARMSTRONG and had Maria and Frances ARMSTRONG. Daughter maria md Col. BARTLETT of the US Army and died. Frances then married Col. BARTLEYY. They had one dau (not named here) who md Capt. REWALLA of the U S army. 7. Frances Caroline b 2 Mar 1816. 8. Jesse Minor b 1 Feb 1818. 9.
