Hi List I'm new to the list and was wondering if someone could fill me in on the History of Fort Worth 1882 to about 1890. My Great Grandparents George and Mary Ann (Gostelow) Curtis moved to Fort Worth about 1882 with their two sons that were born in Michigan. They had two sons while living in Texas, Fred Curtis born in December of 1882 and Joseph Curtis born in October of 1886 at Fort Worth, Texas. In 1890 they were back in Michigan. I am looking for birth information on the children. I am also trying to find why they went to Texas. I do know that George was a stone mason at the time of his death in 1922.
