In reply to Norman Peters-- I have come across the name CHENEY in researching my BULLARD and HAYS families of Parker and Coryell Co. Stokeley R. CHENEY, wife Nancy, son George P. and daughter Manerva C./Minerva were in Hunt Co. in 1850. Son George later settled near Springtown, I think--will dig thru the file if this sounds promising to you. Can you give me more info on your CHEANY?
