    3. Nathan and Margaret Watson are listed on the 1850 census of Jackson Parish, LA. They came into TX with Oliver Loving following a cattle drive into central LA. They came to Parker Co. TX in 1856 and settled on the Clear Fork of the River, known as Veal's Station. Their 2 youngest children were born in Jackson Parish, LA. A son, Francis Marion Watson (my gggf) in 1849 and Hannah Elmeta in 1853.On the 1860 census all were at home, then with the advent of the Civil War and marriagble ages of daughters, nearly everyone was gone from home by 1870. Margaret Watson, the mother died in April of 1870. Of the 3 oldest boys, one was injured and died in the Civil War, one was kicked in the head by a mule and died, the other took string of horses to Arkansas after the war and died there supposedly of Chicken Pox. 2of the girls, Mary Ann Watson Drum and Adeline Corina Watson Stevens, died in childbirth. Hannah married Warren B. McClesky and they raised a large family there in the county. Nathat died in 1888 and son Francis Marion sold out everything and moved west to Palo Pinto County.
