Caroline Elrod and Riley Fox married in Orange Co., Indiana. They moved to Weatherford Texas abt. 1855. Caroline came to Texas with some of her cousins and perhaps some other family members?? Riley Fox has been difficult to trace. We are still looking for his parents. Marion Riley Fox married Anna (Annie) Bell King. Marion Riley Fox youngest child s/o Caroline and Riley Fox. Anna Bell King d/o Missouri Angeline Robertson and Wallace Thompson (Thomps) King ( he was a Justice of the Peace in Weatherford 1860"s ). Missouri Angeline Robertson was the daughter of Elizabeth Ann Harrison and James Monroe Robertson. Missouri Angeline died young leaving behind 2+ children. Wallace remarried Artmecia Ann Blocker...they had children...then he died. The house burned in a fire and records were lost. Missouri Angeline and Wallace Thompson King may have married in Missouri before coming to Texas. Have no clue as to the parentage of Wallace Thompson King. Elizabeth Ann Harrison's husband died..and she never remarried. She did however, care for her grandchildren. Elizabeth Ann Harrison was born Davises Co., Indiana. She is said to have been part Indian. Her husband James Monroe Robertson is believed to have been born in VA. Anna Bell King was first married to a Plumlee..I have no information on this. I do not know if he died or they divorced?? Any info on these families greatly appreciated.
