Paul, About 8 years ago, we went to Parker Co looking for cemeteries, etc. One of my mother's cousins had told us about a small town called Red Mud. We reached the area where we thought it should be and drove up and down the rode, but all we could find in the area was a community called Cool. We finally asked one of the residents and they told us the name had been changed from Red Mud to Cool...they couldn't remember when the change occurred. Cool is on Hwy 180 west of Weatherford and just north of Millsap. Kermit Rutledge
