Dear Lela - Would you be able to tell me if any Speer names appear in those books? If my people are there I'll order them. But I can't afford to spend the money if they're not there. My gggrandfather, John F. Speer, is buried in the Old Greenwood Cemetary in Weatherford along with his grandson, Alvin Speer, but I haven't been able to find his wife, Jane, or his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Sprout Brien Speer.
