    1. [TXPARKER] A Boone Family
    2. Craig MacFarland
    3. This is for Pat in Oklahoma: Here is the Boone posting you asked for. I pick it up where my family history takes on the "undetermined connection" to Benjamin Boone, son of Jonathan Boone, son of Squire Boone. My great grandfather and his siblings are the sources. Jonathan moved around alot, had several wives, and apparently some undocumented children. He died in 1808 near the Wabash River and is buried in Indiana (other sources say Illinois). One of Howard's (see below) brothers was a minister for years in Fort Worth, and he told the same history. Benjamin Boone (b. 1760 NC - d. 1837-40 TN) m. Rebecca Davis. Their son = William Boone (b. 1790 NC - d. ?) m. Sallie Howard (b.1806 TN - d. ?). William & Sallie's son = Howard Boone (b. 22 Oct 1824, Flat Creek, TN - d. in TX where he moved in 1873) m. Elizabeth Floyd (b. 11 Nov. 1824 TN - d. 20 Sept. 1900 Tarrant Co. TX). Howard's fifth son, William (b. 25 Aug. 1853 '15 miles from Fayetteville, AR - d. 7 June 1937 Parker Co., TX) m. Amanda Jane Freeman (b. 28 Jan. 1859 - d. 8 June 1938) on 22 Sept. 1876 in Ft. Worth, TX. William & Amanda's children = Erin Mavorne (b. 11 May 1879 - 7 Sept. 1957) m. Joseph Bunch in Veal Station, TX. Ernest Justice (b. 5 July 1882 - d. 31 Aug. 1927) m. Mary Mallory in Palestine, TX. Inez Cleone (b. 12 Oct. 1884 - d. 5 Sept. 1933) m. Theodore Yarbrough "in Dallas" ??? (These are my grandparents). Lois (b. 1886 - d. unknown in childbirth) m. 26 Dec. 1907 to "Doc" Lancaster. Jerome Haroldson ( b. 15 Dec. 1888 - d. 10 Nov. 1946) m. Mary Ellen Hamm in Waco, TX. Floyd (b. 1 May 1892 - d. 26 Jan 1969) m. unknown was separated or divorced. All of these children were born in Weatherford, Parker Co., and William and Amanda, Theodore and Inez are buried there. I don't know about the others. I have Theodore and Inez's descendents, but won't post here as some grandchildren are living. I hope you can glean something from this. If you have connections with any of these names, I'd love to hear. I'm particularly curious about the "Cleone" and the "Haroldson" and the "Mavorne" given names. William was the first teacher in the old Bedford School when it was begun in Tarrant County. He had been well educated at his uncle Daniel Boone's (a descendent not THE Daniel) school in Arkansas.
