    1. Re: [TXPARKER-L] Woodman of the World Memorial
    2. I like Jerry had found that my Great Grandfather's Headstone indicated he was a Woodman of the World. After finding the website, I emailed them asking what information they might have on my Great Grandfather, they wrote back and gave me his birthdate and death date, how old he was when he bought the policy, and two different places he had lived. They indicated that his application for membership and death claim were no longer part of his file but he died back in 1923 so they may still have them for later members. I encourage all who find this WOW marking to write for information, the girl who wrote me was very nice. Janis

    3. Hello all, I am searching for my G GM Lular (Lula) HALTOM's family. Here is what I have on Lular's parents: 1 Ebenezer HALTOM . +Paralee Ann DUNCAN .... 2 Lular HALTOM b: 1865-1867 in Springtown, PARKER Co., Texas d: 1945 in Cleveland Co., Oklahoma ........ +William Obadiah WYNNE b: 1859 in Wright Co., Missouri d: 1942-1943 in Norman, Cleveland Co., Oklahoma Lular married William Obadiah WYNNE and they lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area before the turn of the century. Since there is a Haltom City in the area, I have narrowed my search for her parents there. (Originally called BIRDVILLE: Now Haltom City, Tarrant Co.) They did live in PARKER Co, however, as their daughter Lelar WYNNE, my GM, was born in Poolville in 1888. I did find on Tarrant Co land records and tax lists of 1863 & 64, a William E. HALTOM. Could this be Ebenezer or another relative? I also found a Thomas DUNCAN listed on the Tarrant Co tax rolls for 1854. Not sure if he was related to my GG GM Paralee Ann DUNCAN. Any help on this family greatly appreciated. Grace Reynolds in CA
