Looking for information about: Maxwell WHITE, who lived in/around Mingus, Palo Pinto County, Texas around 1899. Max had a brother named Herbert. Max married an Alice HALL (1869-ca.1944) and they had 2 children, Read N.WHITE (my grandfather, b. 16 Aug1899 in Mingus), who ended up in Amarillo, then El Paso; and Doyle WHITE. I know very little about the White side of my family and would appreciate any assistance. The story goes that Max up and left the family during the depression, but I have no details. Also, I found an old obit in my grandmother's things for a Joseph Conway WHITE, so assume he was related. Any information would be greatly appreciated.Thanks. Pat prnelson@one.net
