Family stories are that my grandmother was a young girl living with her brother and his family"on the Braxos River" in Palo Pinto Co. in the late 1870's. The story goes that a tornado destroyed the tent in which they were living. This would have been between 1877 and 1880, Is Palo Pinto on the Brazos River and does any one have records of tornados that long ago. Thanks Paul R.L. Vance
