I have been searching, to no avail, for information regarding Robert Evans and his daughter, Fanny Evans. I don't know much. I've been told that Robert Evans was a blacksmith in Mineral Wells. Fanny would have been born ca. 1890 and married William Freeman Johnson from Alabama by 1910 when they had a son named Ernest Robert Johnson, born perhaps in Ft. Worth in Sept. 1910. Fanny died, date unknown, and William returned to Alabama and remarried. I understood there to still be relatives of this side of the family in the Mineral Wells area in the late 1960's when a family ranch was sold, but I have no names since my father died 15 years ago and no idea if anyone is still in the area.
