I'm still searching for any information on Robert Douglas Smith, who was in the Mineral Wells area in the 1940s. Robert was one of four sons of Sam Allen Smith and Ada Stanford. Ada died somewhere between 1895 and 1905-10. Burial place unknown. Sam Allen Smith died in Young County, near Olney. Robert was the brother of my grandmother Essie Mae Smith Adkins (husband - Luther William Adkins), and three other brothers - Heza K., Horace, and Walter. Any leads greatly appreciated.
