Howell Alexander Hall (b. 1812, MS) and Mary Elizabeth Read (b. 1834, MS) were married. While Howell apparently died in MS, Elizabeth died 27 November 1904 in Palo Pinto County. I undertand that she is buried in Orange Cemetery. Several of their children apparently ended up in Palo Pinto, including: William B. Hall (b. 1855 in Hinds Co. MS; died in Strawn, Palo Pinto Co. TX) John Read Hall (b. Apr 1861 in Edwards, Hinds Co. MS; died 22 Feb 1925 in Amarillo, TX. Married Alice Dabney Bailey 29 May 1901 in Mingus, Palo Pinto Co.) Charles Read Hall (b. Aug 1865 in Jackson, Hinds County, MS d. 26 Nov. 1905 in Gordon, TX. Married Alice Reasenor) Alice Florence Hall (my ggrandmother, b. 17 July 1869 in Hinds, MS; Married Maxwell David White abt 1897 in TX; Married James Monroe Davenport aft. 1929). Maxwell and Alice had 2 children, Read N. White (my grandfather) b. 1899 in Mingus, Palo Pinto Co. and Doyle. Maxwell had a brother named Herbert.
