No, I've not heard a story like that. My father told of working with Eli Tipton on building highways around the Stephenville - Palo Pinto, TX area. I do have his wife listed and two children. Don't know if there were more or not. One was Myrtle and the other girl, Ivy. Myrtle married a Mr Foster and they had a son, Cleo E Foster born between 1918-1919. Eli's wife was Lenora Adaline Goad and she was born in March, 1870, Boone Co., AR.I do appreciate you writing.
