I am looking for information on my grandmother's first husband, Tom Bradford. They were married in Palo Pinto on 11 Sep 1900 by C.H. Ray. Frances Aston was 16 and he was supposedly a much older man and died within a year after their marriage. She was remarried in 1903. She was listed in the 1900 census in June living with her sister Belle Aston and her husband Timothy T Griffin. Tom Bradford does not appear in the 1900 census nor can I find any information about a Tom Bradford who was older and not married. Jan, I see a Thomas T Bradford on sheet 14B ED 122 "Justice Precinct". Is there a possibility this is the same one married to your Frances? His wife could have died after the census was taken and then married Frances. I see she is also in ED 122 sheet 16A, so not too far from him.
