McLaren married Martha Amelia Taylor, daughter of Stephen Slade Taylor in 1878. John became the first sheriff of Stonewall county and supposedly died in the line of duty in March of 1892. Martha had died in January of 1891. There were two children Edward and Della McLaren. Would like to know about descendants, these children did not return to either set of grandparents. Would like to know where John and Martha are buried.
