1. [TXPALOPI] Re: Cemeteries
2. Is there also a Woodmen Cemetery in Mineral Wells? I believe my great uncle Walter Edwin Wells b. 1893 d. 1914, son of David B. and Mary Alice (Moore) Wells is buried there. Seeing the name Woodland Park Memorial Cemetery made me wonder if I even have the correct name. I'm also looking for the cemetery where my great grandfather, David B. "DB" Wells is buried. He might be buried in Mingus, Palo Pinto Co., TX -- isn't there an Old Mingus Cemetery there? THANKS, *************************** Peggy Sue Wilson Amarillo, TX September 11, 2001 - Memorial

1. [TXPALOPI] Taylor and Trigg
2. I first sent this to only the list Mom meaning to send it to the group. Now here it is. Hi, new list Mom. I am searching for any information on my great aunt, Lula or Lou Taylor who married Elmo Trigg. They had several children in the early 1900 time period and were divorced due to abuse by Mr. Trigg. I read that in newspaper in Clinton, OK but have not found a record of divorce there. They were living in Palo Pinto County in 1900 and may have gotten divorced there. I would love to know. Lou/Lula Trigg later married Henry Rodgers and had more children. Any information would be gratefully accepted, actually I would almost bow at your feet for information on my Taylor family. Thanks a heap, Darlene

3. Brenda, we moved away from Mineral Wells in 1996 but I worked with a Homer Hensley. He was a school teacher and worked part time with my company, Dallas Production. He lived at 506 Austin Dr. Mineral Wells 76067. His phone number is 940 325-1217. This was in 1996. The cemetery is located south of Mineral Wells on South Oak on 281 about 1/2 mile out of town. As far as I know, the cemetery does not have a web page. But you could write the MINERAL WELLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE , 511 East Hubbard P.O. Box1408 Mineral WElls, Tx. 76068 or the person over the cemeteries phone number is 1-940-328-7818, this is a recent number. Hope this will help you. Junior Masterson Ft. I sent off and received a copy of George's death certificate so I know he is buried at Woodland Park Memorial Cemetery. Does anyone know where Woodland Park Memorial is located and if there is any Tombstone Transcription or Cemetery Listings of the cemetery online? I assume she is buried next to George but I just don't have any information. Thanks. 1. Re: unsubscribe problem
2. Jim McMillen
3. John, There is a proper way to unsubscribe. Sometimes you may have to address the list administrator to get unsubscribed; for example, if your email address has changed. Like anything else you do with a computer, if it's not done exactly right you don't get the results you seek. Quit blaming the host. Usual way to unsubscribe: Send a message containing only the word unsubscribe in the body of the message to: TXPALOPI-L-request@rootsweb.com (or -D in Digest mode) If your address has changed: Send a message telling the list administrator your address has changed and ask to be unsubscribed; be sure to give your old email address. Send to: (1) TXPALOPI-L-admin@rootsweb.com with some lists it works better if the address is in the form: (2) TXPALOPI-admin@rootsweb.com Try (1) first. If that doesn't work, try (2).

2. Jim McMillen
3. The following is included in each weekly issue of RootsWeb Review: TO SUBSCRIBE OR UNSUBSCRIBE from any RootsWeb-hosted mailing list, send an e-mail message with only the word SUBSCRIBE (or UNSUBSCRIBE) in the subject and the body of the message to [name of list]-L-request@rootsweb.com (for mail mode) or to [name of list]-D-request@rootsweb.com (for digest mode). How to unsubscribe was also sent to you as part of the confirmation that you had subscribed. To unsubscribe from this list, send a message addressed to: TXPALOPI-L-request@rootsweb.com and include in the BODY of the message ONLY the word unsubscribe It doesn't have to be in the subject line but it won't hurt if it is. Subscribing and unsubscribing is done automatically and it won't work if done wrong. The list administrator can unsubscribe you if, for example, you have changed email addresses, but you have to change the above address by replacing the word request with admin . Sometimes you have to leave out the -L for it to work. Cheers, Jim

3. Please HELP! I've tried for two months to unsubscribe from this list without any success. The host says she doesn't handle this task. Does anyone on the list have any ideas about this problem? I hate to keep posting this but it is the only way I know of to solve this. The automatic response keeps telling me that I'm not even on the list! Yet, I get posts every day. After three years of doing hundreds of volunteer look-ups on the 1900 census, it kinda hurts to be ignored...I can only hope that it is a computer malfunction rather than the state of things at Rootsweb. I know that I am less inclined to get back on ANY list or to do any volunteering if I will only be trapped in a cyber limbo. HELP!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Melinda
