Lewis Powell was first married to my husband Wayne Gatlins great grandmother who's maiden name was Louisa Eliza Brown. It is reported he may be buried in Orange County Texas. I need to know this for my files on my husbands great grandfather file in Family Tree maker. Also it is told by a fellow researcher that Louisa Eliza Brown and Thomas Peck were married in Orange County Texas in the year 1853.
