Funeral services for the former Vidor resident were held at 3 p.m., Thursday, October 16, in Spring Branch with burial following in Houston. Survivors include his wife, Janelle Laughlin Cady of Houston; two sons, Herbert Jr. of Dallas and Mike of Ohio: two brothers, Chester and Kimble both of Vidor.
