HOLDEN, SAMUEL H., Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably” in Company “I”, 13th Texas “Cavalry”, “Flowernaughts”, C.S.A., later “Dismounted”. (note: Company “I” was formed in Orange County, Texas.)
