He was at his time of enlistment a resident of Catahoula Parish, Harrisonburg, Louisiana. Discharged from said Confederate Service on the 18th day of November, 1863. Applied for a Confederate Pension from the State of Texas. HURD, HARRISON W., Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably” in Company “G”, 21st Texas “Cavalry”, “First Texas Lancers”, C.S.A. (note: Company “G” was formed in Orange County, Texas.) RICHEY, THOMAS COPE, Applied for a Confederate pension from the State of Texas.
