(note: Company B spent most of the War stationed at Sabine Pass, Texas. Company B was formed in Jefferson County (Sabine Pass), Texas.) GOOD, M. P., Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served Honorably in Company B, 11th Spaights Battalion, Artillery, Texas Volunteers, C.S.A. (note: Company B spent most of the War stationed at Sabine Pass, Texas.) **GOODE, GIDEON CARL, PRIVATE, Born: 25th day of December, 1840, near the town of Jasper, Texas. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America on the 24th day April, 1861, at Galveston, Texas, and served as a Private in Company C, 25th Regiment of Texas Dismounted Cavalry, C.S.A. He was captured and shortly died in federal prison at Camp Butler, Springfield, Illinois, on the 06th day of February, 1863 Gideons brother: Hannibal died at the same federal prison one month later. (note: twin brother to Hannibal Goode below). **GOODE, HANNIBAL F., PRIVATE, Born: 25th day of December, 1840, near the town of Jasper, Texas.
