SR., (Plot 4; Evergreen Cemetery), Born: 1840. Deceased: 1919. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America on the 15th day of May, 1861 and served “Honorably”, as a “Private” in Company “G”, 21st Regiment “Texas Cavalry”, C.S.A. He was at his time of enlistment a resident of Orange, Texas. He was “Honorably” discharged from said Confederate service on the 26th day of May, 1865, by Captain C. H. Hannah, Colonel Giddings. At which time he held the rank of “Private”. (Obtained from “Southern Cross of Honor” application…his writing.) (note: Company “G” was formed in Orange County, Texas.) TAYLOR, (UNKNOWN), Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America, and served “Honorably” in Company “B”, “Artillery”, 11th “Spaight’s Battalion”, “Texas Volunteers”, C.S.A. (note: Company “B” spent most of the War stationed at Sabine Pass, Texas. Company “B” was formed in Jefferson County (Sabine Pass), Texas.) TAYLOR, J. G. L., Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America, and served “Honorably” in Company “D”, 11th “Spaight’s Battalion”, “Texas Volunteers”, “Infantry”, C.S.A. (note: Company “D” was formed in Tyler County, Texas.) TAYLOR, WALTER B., Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America, and served “Honorably” in Company “A”, 11th “Spaight’s Battalion”, “Texas Volunteers”, “Cavalry”, C.S.A. (note: Company “A” was formed in Jefferson County (Sabine Pass), Texas.) MYERS, FRANK C., Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably”. Received a Confederate pension from the State of Texas. Pension # 43801. MYERS, ROBERT CHARLES, “CORPORAL”, Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably” in Company “B”, 11th “Spaight’s Battalion”, “Texas Volunteers”, C.S.A. “Honorably” discharged from said Confederate Service on 28th day of May, 1865. Buried: “Dorman Cemetery”, Orange, Texas. (note: may be the same Gentleman below).(note: Company “B” spent most of the War stationed at Sabine Pass, Texas. Company “B” was formed in Jefferson County (Sabine Pass), Texas.) MYERS, ROBERT C., Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America and served “Honorably”. Received a Confederate pension from the State of Texas. Pension # 11595. (note: may be the same Gentleman above) MYERS, T. C., Applied for a Confederate pension from the State of Texas.
