She married CLAUDE EUGENE TAYLOR, son of OWEN TAYLOR and EMMA BERWICK. He was born September 09, 1905, and died January 06, 1986. Yvonne, first may I say a heart felt thanks for all you have given to me. I do not have any further information on any of this family's children. Nichols, who was my grandmother. She was born abt. 1878, Ark., and died Aug. 1957, in Jefferson Co., Tx. She lived in Orange County at the time she became ill and died, tho. She married Thomas Jackson Nichols abt. 1896 or 97, in either Ark. or Okla. They lived in Oklahoma in 1898, as their first son, Perry was born there. Their children were; Perry, Claude, Eva Nichols Coppenger, Gladys Nichols Norbit, Floyd T., and Faye Nichols Leonard, my mother. Thomas J. and his son Perry, both died abt. 1917 in Okla., and the family moved to Tx. By 1930, they lived in Beaumont, Jefferson Co., Tx. Katie E. Nichols made her home in later years, with her daughter, Gladys Nichols Norbit, of Vidor, Orange Co., Tx. Does anyone know who her parents were? I would appreciate any info that anyone has, and will share the info that I have. I am very interested in contacting any of her descendants that still live in Orange County, or elsewhere. Thank you.
