Does anyone know if there is a Cottonwood or Cottenwood cemetery in or around Navarro? I am looking for someone to find Ballards buried in Navarro and also in Rhome Texas but I don't find Rhome listed anywhere and dont find Cottonwood cemetery anywhere so I don't know if Im on the right track. Someone said there are lots of Ballards in the area and I very much want to find a connection to my grandmother's family. I am in Connecticut now and can't research the area well and small towns are hard to locate even from the web. Well that's my sob story but if anyone can help - this has been a 20 year search for grandfathers and great-grandmothers that died young before I was born and no one can tell me where they all were buried or who they even were. None of my grandparents are living and most relatives don't know much about any of my ancestors. Another I'm looking for is William Stephenson or STevenson Smith in that area but again I don't know where he is buried or who he was married to but he was my great-grandfather. So basically this is what I'm looking for: any Ballards in the area cemeteries especially Simpson Ballard any William S. Smith who died before 1943 in or around the area and whoever might be buried near him related to him Edgar Dance Smith - my grandfather - died around 1944 or 1945. Thanks for any help.
