This message inaugurates the Navarro County, Texas mailing list. Some of my family names from Navarro County are: BARTLETT FORTSON CLOPTON CLAYTON WALKER LOOP Both my parents are from Rice. Our ancestors lived at Taos (Porter's Bluff), Chatfield, Rice, and other spots in the northeastern part of the county. Some were there when the county was formed.
