The 51st Homecoming and annual business meeting of the Rice Cemetery Association will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Rice High School. The new school campus is just south of Rice on the west side of the I-45 service road. A large parking lot is located on the south side of the school. The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. in the gym and will honor loved ones who have been buried in Rice or elsewhere since last year's Homecoming. Anyone knowing of someone who should be on the "buried elsewhere" list is asked to send the person's name to Joanne Murphy, 1700 Glenbrook, Corsicana, Texas 75110. A covered dish lunch will follow the memorial service and will be in the school commons area. The Association will provide barbecue, iced tea, and bread. Please bring a covered dish if you can reasonably do so. The business meeting will convene at the school after lunch, no later than 1:00 p.m. Anyone unable to attend may send a contribution to Rice Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 117, Rice, Texas 75155.
