PAUL CLAUDE KELLY, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Saturday April 12, 2003 at the age of 85. He was born in Tyler, Texas and grew up in Corsicana, Texas. In his teen years, he was part of the Civilian Conservation Corps and helped to build numerous parks in the Corsicana area. On November 19, 1938, he married Lois Eula Flanagan in Mesquite, Texas. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army for three years and < logo id = "543"/>fought in the Philippine Islands. After the war, he moved to Houston, Texas where he worked for Phoenix and Westmoreland Dairies. He leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Lois Kelly; son Kenneth Kelly and daughter Barbara Kelly Johns, both residents of northwest Houston; grandchildren Michael Kelly, Terri Smith and Nathan, Katie, and Amanda Johns; brother Arthur Kelly of Cleburne, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Samuel and Kyle Kelly and Jessica and Emily Smith, along with many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6 PM to 8 PM on Monday April 14 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 W. 34th Street with funeral services beginning there at 1 PM Tuesday April 15, Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
