    3. Hi, do any of you know if the Corsicana Library may have anything like this? I received it from another list. If you find out would you let the list know? It sure would be nice if they did, as I am disabled and can't get to the Library. Janice Corsicana TX Thanks to a cooperative effort, anyone with a valid MI Driver's License or MI State ID Card can access Ancestry Plus (formerly available only at public libraries) from any internet connection as of October 1, 2003. Go to:: www.mel.org (Michigan Electronic Library) Click: LOGON AT HOME OR WORK (about 1/3 of the way down the page.) Enter: a Valid MI Driver's License Number or State ID Card Number Click: ANCESTRY PLUS (under GENEALOGY in right hand column) This provides free access to TONS of records including the Federal Census. Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    3. What is wrong with the email? I sent this the 11th and today is the 17th? BTW-I received a reply from the other list I got this information and they said that ancestry.com has put a stop to obtain records from the library from your home PC. $$$$$$ is the name of the game, their excuse was there were to many using it and misusing it. Oh well, we can wish can't we? Janice ----- Original Message ----- From: "J. 3. There is a way around this. My library offers many databases that you can login to with your library card from home. All you have to do is login to the "Biography and Genealogy Master Index." You will then get a list of databases that are available, one of them being Ancestry Plus. At 12:04 AM 10/18/2003, J.
