    1. [TXNAVARR] Texas General Land Office Maps

    3. A while back, someone sent the link to the Texas General Land Office Website which contains lots of old County Maps. This past weekend, we were in Austin and I went by the Land Office to see the copies (and the originals) first hand. I was so impressed I bought three (Navarro, Bosque, and Collin) and plan on getting several others. These are super high quality images, printed full scale on the highest quality paper in full color (most for about $15). The copies are as good as the originals, every survey name is easily readable. I highly recommend these maps. I am having my maps framed right now for display in the house. They are having more maps scanned and will have them posted to their website soon. Let me know if you have any questions on the maps or process. Everyone in their office is very friendly and helpful. They will just bend over backwards to help ! Their site is at http://www.glo.state.tx.us/ and their offices are on the 8th floor of the Stephen F. Austin Building next door to the Bob Bullock Museum on Congress (north side of the Capitol building). Edward L. Williams Navarro County TXGenWeb www.rootsweb.com/~txnavarr ewilli01@flash.net
