Greetings from San Diego (California, not Texas)! I'm a travel writer living in San Diego and I'm doing some research for a story about a lady who I believe was born and raised in Coriscana. Her name was Frances Wilburn Allen Stephenson, or something very close to that. I am told that her father was one of the founders of TEXACO. I know she was a radio actress in Hollywood during the 1930s and was a friend of many of the big stars of that time. She eventually retired here in San Diego. She was also a close friend of my father. I met her several times before she passed away back in the late 1980s. I am looking for anyone who might have known her or anything about her. I've tried doing an internet search but that didn't help much. I hope you can pass this request along in your paper or to anybody or any organization in Coriscana who might be able to help me.
