    3. I am searching for descendants of William Smith, who evidently died just before the 1880 census . I found him on the 1860 census but I haven't found him on the 1870 TX census as of yet. I also would like information on the family of Morgan Miller and his descendants.. 1860 Limestone co census P.O. Personville William Smith age 22 born TX Lucinda Smith wife age 17 born LA John W. Smith son age 9mo born TX Lucinda was the daughter of Morgan Miller and Elizabeth Smith ? from Claiborne Parish LA to Nacogdoches co 1850 . 1860 Limestone co census Elizabeth Miller head of household age 44 b IL Sarah E. (Rose) Miller dau age 14 b LA Martha Miller dau age 12 b LA 1880 Navarro co census Lucinda Smith widow age 40 b LA Jane Smith dau age 11 b TX Alley Smith dau age 6 b TX Pink Smith dau age 1 b TX 1850 Nacogdoches co TX census Morgan Miller age 37 b KY Elizabeth Miller wife age 39 b IL John Miller age 22 b LA Gilbert Miller age 17 b LA Eliza Miller age 13 b LA Lucinda Miller age 7 b LA Benjamin Miller age 14 b LA Sarah Miller age 6 b LA Rose Miller age 4 b LA Catherine Miller age 4 b LA I am not a Smith descendant ( at least not this line but do have an Ezekiel) . My 3rd GGF was Morgan Miller listed in my query. His daughter Eliza married Joshua Haworth Wright in Andersoncounty TX, settled in Bell co where they lived until death. My main purpose behind my query is to find out what happened to Morgan Miller and his sons John and Benjamin. They disappeared between the 1850-1860 census. I had an elderly cousin since deceased who told me that they were hung as horse thieves. Evidently something happened as I have searched over twelve years without a clue. The other son Gilbert was on the 1860 Limestone co census , enumerated with another family as a hired hand. He is again listed on the 1870 McLennan co TX census with his wife and mother Elizabeth, then he disappears. I am hoping to make contact with descendants of Morgan Miller , hoping someone else knows this story. Many Thanks, Pat in OK
