Some time ago I received an article concerning Joseph B. Meador who married Mary Rosetta Taylor Hammonds, they had two girls Martha and Marretta, He was killed near Texarkana and his wife died the next day. The girls were raised by the Hammonds. Martha worked in the Navarro County court house for years and Maretta married H. B. Scott, they had six children. Does anyone know anything about this family??
