    3. Greetings, all; My mother was born in Navarro, so I thought this might be a good list to be a member of. My Navarro Surnames are: Collins (primary) and Middlebrook (secondary). I've found reference to Charles Clark Collins as a child of Joseph Bradford Collins and Blanche Minta Middlebrook in the 1900 Census, then again in the 1930 census as husband of Matilda Janye Powell and father of Mary Elwyn (my mother), but have not located any of Charles' siblings or their families; Pearl Collins, Henry Grady Collins, John B. Gordon Collins and Pauline Collins. Also, since Joseph B. didn't die until 1920, I expected to find him in the 1910 census, at least, but no go. I haven't been able to find any records indicating when Joseph B. came to Navarro. As to Blanche, I know that she was born in Georgia, but not whether her family came with her to Navarro or not. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks, one and all, for any possible suggestions or help. Cherié Frugé

    3. I am looking for any information available on John Leroy McCage. I know very little and he was my grandfather. He supposedly came from Tennessee around mid 1870s, married a woman named Kate Davis and then in 1894 married my grandmother, Nannie Pugh. He possibly was related to Jacob McCage. John Leroy was killed by lightning in July of 1904. My mother was Martha McCage Stewart. -----Original Message----- From: Doris Haynes [mailto:dhaynes@hub.ofthe.net] Sent: Sunday, July 27, 2003 7:21 PM To: TXNAVARR-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [TXNAVARR] Rural Shade Thanks to everyone who answered my post about Rural Shade.
