Click open the link that says "search engine". This link allows you to select a county and enter your surname which then opens a section of transcribed material for that pariticular county. Some counties are better than others on material as it is information that is gathered by individuals and submitted to this website. Nacogdoches happens to be one of the better links as it is one of the oldest counties in the State. Birth records that are transcribed begin in 1926 and the ones through 1949 list the names of the parents. Marriage records, in most cases, start in 1966 unless someone has taken the time to go back and transcribe much earlier records. I find it most resourceful. I also used the census records on Ancestry. com to find the family in the 1930 census record from your provided year of birth for Mary Elizabeth Crossland.
