I'll see what I can find on Willis Gooodman. I appreciate all of your efforts. I don't have an actual copy of John Claud Goodmans application for military service: here is what I have that someone sent me: "A book of Nacogdoches people in the war was published by Carolyn Ericson and I found : Goodman, John Cloud Born: ca. 1842 Natchitoches, Louisiana Service: Co. J., Capt. Christian Coleman Barnes' Infantry Regt., 13th Arkansas Militia Comments: rejected pension application; to Texas in 1866" The application was rejected for some reason. The only burrial that we have found (and I can't lay my hands on it right now) was in a Cemetery near Garrison, Texas (that is where John and Elizabeth lived) it had: "J.C. Goodwin" died June 1920. Thank you Harold Gosnell
