Would it be asking to much to ask you to look in the 1850 Census of Natchitoches, Parish, Louisiana for John Goodman/Goodwin? According to a rejected application for Military Service, he stated that he was born in Natchitoches, LA. The Census that you gave listed him as being born in LA. Thank you very much.
