He was living in Nacogdoches in 1950 and may have died in the 1960's. He was originally from Mississippi and is believed to be the son of Mathew (Matt??) Cook. We know that he had two sisters, Dora Cook m. George Elijah Gibbons and Malissa Cook m. Richard Collins Gates.Both families lived in Smith and Simpson Co. in MS. Dora died around 1910 and I can not find any information on her. She was my grandmother. Any info on any member of this family would be most appreciated!
