Maggie, In trying to find the info you asked for-death and burial site, I ran across a posting in World Family Tree by a Rebecca K. Judkins of Smithville, Tennessee. Do you have access to WFT or do you know Rebecca? The posting is Vol. 114 Tree 499. The tree of Charles R. Judkins b. November 23, 1846. Son of Charles Gray Judkins(b. 1815 Sussex County,Va.)and Elizabeth Basket (b. about 1818 Tn.) Elizabeth's parents were William Basket and Catherine ? . Rebecca lists Judkins back to Samuel b. May 10, 1556 Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland d. about 1585. Also do you connect to the Hearne family from Douglass, Nacogdoches, Texas? 1880 Census lists C.G. Judkins as a carpenter in Douglass. Its not your Charles but I found what is possibly a relative: Eden Cemetery Charles R. Judkins b. 23 November 1846, d. 16 May 1901 C.S.A. 8th Texas Infantry married Eliza F.
