They had one child a son John Haywood Bentley. She died after they came to Texas. Where and when I donot know. He went back to Bertie Co and brought Margaret Hamil back to Texas with her father Andrew and 3 sisters . Margaret and Whitmal m in Melrose Texas Nacogdoches Co. To that union they raised 8 children. A son Thoms Whitmil was my grandfather.They are buried at Cove Springs Cemetery just west of Melrose. Billie
