    3. According to my elderly "Handy Book for Genealogists" the county clerk for Nacogdoches has birth and death records from 1903, marriage, probate, and civil court records from 1837, land records from 1833 and applications for land grants from 1835. 3. I was born in Nacogdoches Co. in 1931. My cousin in 1929 and my mother in 1911. I had a birth certificate. My mother and cousin did not. Nacogdoches has excellent records. If the doctor turned it in, they probably had it. If he didn't, they didn't. All of us were born at home. -----Original Message----- From: Allene Schooler [mailto:allenes@netgate.net] Sent: Monday, August 01, 2005 2:33 PM To: TXNACOGD-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TXNAC] Where are Nacogdoches death certificates 1903-1930?
