~Hey All, I went to Nacogdoches this past week to look for information on my sister's house. She was told that it was built by a capt. Harris, but I have found that most likely it was not built by him, it was built by a James Crawford who bought the land from Oscar E Broyles and Jenna Oxsheer Feb.19,1900. James Crawford was a carpenter/ house builder. He married Ada Cook. Does anyone know anything about James Crawford? The house changed hands many times before my sister bought it last year. I am also working on finding out what community was located where the Old union cem. is now. There was a school there at one time also. I think the school was called Old Union School but unsure about that. Thanks so much for any help, Amy Black
